I see a new cache was placed in Sanders park and I am confused by the attributes listed so I checked the other four in the park and got a mixed bag, specifically the dog friendly attribute.

The new cache and one of the other shows dogs are allowed, one shows no dogs and the other two don't have the dog attribute marked either way.

I'm sure the other weekend when Eli and I drove up there the sign at the entrance said no dogs so we had to head down to Pets for the day.

Are some of these caches outside of the park and accessible with dogs? I know that the attributes really depend on what the hider wants to add.

As far as I know, the newest cache appears to be IN the park. The exception might be if they have it near the campsites which in themselves might allow for bringing your dog to if camping, but I would play it safe and consider it non-allowable, as the sign read. Might want to ask someone who has camped there before.

If I remember correctly, (and we all know what a great memory I have ;) )dogs are not allowed in the central part of the park controlled by the DNR.

AN OLD REPORT--I WAS OUT PICKING UP A MYSTERY CACHE IN THE AREA YESTERDAY AND READ THE SIGN AT THE ENTRANCE. NO DOGS OR ALCOHOL AND THE PARK CLOSES AT DUSK.
